PEP RALLY /ACTIVITY PLANS

Monday, Oct. 12 Plans – “Character Day”

Tuesday, Oct. 13 Plans – “Class Color Day” – All students and faculty members are encouraged to wear selected colored clothing to support the money drop.  This is the only day that students are allowed to paint their hair or wear face paint (each team has their own rules concerning this).

Wednesday, Oct. 14 Plans – “Senior Citizen Day” – All students and faculty members are encouraged to dress as the elderly. The pep rally will feature several competitions for “senior citizens.”

Thursday, Oct. 15 Plans – “Destination Day” – All students and faculty members are encouraged to wear selected “Destination” attire.  The pep rally will feature several “Destination” themed activities.

Friday, Oct. 16 Plans – “Spirit Day” – All students and faculty are encouraged to wear red and black.  We will have a normal Friday pep rally and parade.

We will choose the team that dresses up and participates most each day.  Teams will be rewarded points.  Also, each grade will pick two students (1 boy and 1 girl) to enter the best dressed competition each day.  A winner will be selected as the best dressed and their team will be awarded points.

Each grade will be allowed to enter a float in the parade.  You must let your homeroom teacher know if you plan on entering a float.  All float work and organization will be the responsibility of students and parents.  All work and money for floats will be handled outside the school.  Students that return permission forms will be allowed to work on class floats Friday morning (weather permitting) and ride on the float during the parade.  A homeroom teacher must remain with the class Friday morning and during the parade.

WE NEED PARENT VOLUNTEERS!  Parents are welcome to come for the pep rally.  Involving the parents and having them get into the “hype” will bring in more money.

MORE PLANS FOR OTHER CONTESTS WILL COME SOON
